ModelSpend (“we”, “us”, “our”) is operated by TheTekTeam. We operate the ModelSpend AI cost-routing and governance platform available at modelspend.best and associated subdomains.

When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and company name. Authentication is handled by Auth0. We do not store raw passwords.
We collect metadata about AI API calls routed through ModelSpend: token counts, model selected, provider used, latency, cost, routing decision rationale, and any budget or policy tags you have configured. We do not persist the content of your prompts or AI responses beyond the duration needed to complete the routing request, unless you explicitly enable prompt logging in your tenant settings.
Payment and billing information is processed by Stripe. We do not store raw card numbers or sensitive payment data on our systems. We retain subscription status, plan tier, and billing history for financial and compliance purposes.
We collect server logs including IP addresses, browser user-agent strings, request timestamps, and error traces. This data is used for security monitoring, debugging, and service reliability.
We use strictly necessary cookies for session management and optional analytics cookies to understand how users interact with our marketing site. You can disable optional cookies in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
We use your data to: provide and operate the ModelSpend service; generate cost analytics and routing intelligence for your team; enforce budget policies and governance rules you have configured; detect abuse and ensure platform security; send transactional emails (account alerts, invoices); improve our routing algorithms using aggregated, anonymised signals.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data to train third-party AI models.
We share data only with service providers necessary to operate ModelSpend, including:
All sub-processors are bound by data processing agreements. We do not share data with advertisers or data brokers.
ModelSpend operates from the United Kingdom. Some sub-processors process data outside the UK/EEA. Where this occurs we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent transfer mechanisms recognised by applicable data protection law. By using the service you acknowledge that your data may be transferred internationally in accordance with this policy.
Account data is retained while your account is active and for 90 days after account deletion or termination, after which it is permanently deleted. Usage and cost telemetry is retained for up to 12 months for billing, analytics, and audit purposes. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days. Billing records are retained as required by applicable tax and financial regulation.
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed credentials, role-based access control, and regular security reviews. For details see our Security page. No system is perfectly secure; if you discover a vulnerability please contact security@modelspend.best.
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; request restriction of processing; data portability; and object to certain processing. To exercise these rights contact privacy@modelspend.best. We will respond within 30 days.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
